Compact Traveler Star S1 Photo and Video Tripod

With the Rollei Compact Traveler Star S1 video tripod (formerly: DIGI 3400), you get a stable yet very lightweight travel companion that will help you achieve a whole new way of filming with little effort and significantly improve your results.
Compact Video Tripod for Travel and Outdoor Photography
The Rollei Compact Traveler Star S1 travel tripod is specially optimized for the needs of videographers when traveling and during outdoor activities. Weighing only 570 grams, with a packing size of forty centimeters and a practical tripod bag, you can easily take it with you in your luggage or backpack on a day hike. When needed, it can be quickly extended to its maximum height of 120 cm. The camera, which can weigh up to two kilograms, is attached to the integrated tripod head with a quick-release plate in a single motion. This is equipped with a pan arm that allows for smooth, jerk-free panning and tilting of the camera.
Suitable for Video and Photo
The dedicated video amateur appreciates the camera control from a tripod. Pans across the landscape will be smooth and without abrupt changes in motion, while static subjects such as city portraits or people shots will be captured without disturbing wobbles. When the camera is placed on a tripod, you have both hands free and can more easily operate zoom and focus. With the Rollei Compact Traveler Star S1, however, you not only have an entry-level video tripod in your luggage - it also opens up entirely new possibilities in photography. Use the "blue hour" after sunset for fascinating atmospheric shots, without worrying about image noise due to high ISO values. Depict flowing water or other movements with long exposure times. Position your camera precisely for landscape and architectural photos so that no important image elements are lost at the edges. Or use the compact video tripod when assembling panoramas from individual images or in macro photography.
